Elevated Desert Deck
A sloping, rocky lot left the back of the house sitting well above grade with no usable outdoor space. Footings were set across uneven desert ground, an elevated platform framed off the rear elevation, and the surface laid in low-maintenance composite board. A stair run ties the deck down to the existing flagstone patio, and slim metal balusters in a timber frame keep the mountain view open from a seated height. The album runs from first excavation through to the finished railing.
